Wetland Identification outside of the E.M.P. Region?

When it comes to identifying wetlands, your geographic location plays a crucial role. You need to utilize the correct Regional Supplement based on where you are located.  Our primary course teaches the process for wetland identification in the Eastern Mountain and Piedmont Region, because a location must be chosen in order to teach the course.

But indeed, the course is a National Training Course and you will learn how to identify wetlands nationwide.  There is a significant 80-90% overlap across Regions, and the overall process remains consistent.  There may be a few "Wetland Indicators" that are excluded or require independent learning.  But this process is minimal, and easy to do.

We show you the exact process we use to identify wetlands outside of the E.M.P. Region.  The exact process that WE USE to do our own real-world field work for our own clients outside of the E.M.P. Region.

Below is a sneak peak of the course's conclusion where we discuss the process.  Once again, this material is presented in the concluding section of the course, so expect some technical terminology that will make more sense once you finish.  In addition there are pages from our Manual provided below to help you better follow along with the process.
